How does the Gernal 500-liter brewing kettle work?
The kettle is electrically heated by four resistance heaters, each with a power of 6 kW—for a total heating capacity of 24 kW—which allows for efficient and uniform heating of the tank’s contents without the need to connect to the plant’s external steam system. This heating method facilitates installation of the unit in smaller facilities that do not have their own steam boiler room. The boiler tank, made entirely of acid-resistant steel, was designed for the cooking and brewing of meat products—such as sausages, cured meats, or other products requiring controlled heat treatment in large batches at a time.
Key advantages of the Gernal 500-liter cooking kettle

The electric heating system of the Gernal 500-liter kettle allows for easy control of the heating process without depending on pressure or the availability of steam in the plant’s system, which simplifies operation and increases the unit’s reliability. The acid-resistant steel construction ensures high corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning in accordance with the hygiene standards applicable in the meat processing industry.

Applications of the Gernal 500 l cooking kettle
The Gernal 500 l cooking kettle is used in meat processing plants—primarily for cooking and steaming meat products, such as sausages or other meat products requiring controlled heat treatment in large batches. Thanks to its electric heating system, the unit is suitable for use both in facilities with a steam system and in those where such a system is not available.
